Due to the heightened alert of the Coronavirus, ZYSA has suspended all activity (indoor & outdoor) at the facility until further notice.
We are monitoring the situation with local and state authorities and medical experts for advice and proper protocol and we will be providing periodic updates on any changes in the coming weeks.
We thank you for your patience during this unprecedented period.
To state that I am ecstatic for the direction ZYSA is headed would be an understatement!
ZYSA will continually seek to be proactive in decisions we feel are in the best interest of each of our players and families, throughout the entirety of our programming. The decision recently made to move to a single Director of Coaching, complimented by four Assistant Directors of Coaching (ADOCs), was two-fold:
1). To best ensure that the entire travel program Pathway through our u19 senior-side was aligned and symmetrical.
2). To ensure that the many components of our long-term development model to include our Mental Training, Mobility Training, and on-field technical and tactical training, are carried out by all coaches to the highest degree possible.
In October of this past fall, Jonathan McClure was promoted from Girls' Director of Player & Staff Development to our overall ZYSA Director of Coaching, providing oversight and direction to the entirety of our travel programming.
Our four recently named ADOCs have been busy working with coaches and players since returning from the holiday break:
Matt Coyer (boys u7 - 12), Jordan Shuck (girls u7 - 12), Rob Klatte (boys u13 - 19), Evan Krupa (girls u13 - 19).
The below will provide a bit more background and information on these four talented additions to our leadership team.
As a reminder, there is no tobacco, alcohol, pets or weapons allowed at ZYSA Fields. Also, the ZYSA Fields are private property and are at the use and discretion of ZYSA.
